In addition to their mechanical function as a support element, adjustable stops with status sensor are used to detect whether a component is in contact with the stop or not.
The sensor recognises whether the plunger is retracted or extended and enables this status information to be electronically processed.

The assured switch distance is achieved when the plunger is flush with the stop face of the guide bush. The sensor is supplied unassembled.

Installation recommendation: Glue in using e.g. Loctite 638.

Stops with status sensors enable status-dependent process control. It can be ensured that a workpiece or moving component is in the desired location before further steps follow.

The status sensor must be screwed in as far as it will go.
It is recommended that this be glued in e.g. using Loctite 638.

Stops with status sensors are not suitable for safeguarding persons.

End position feedback stops are not suitable for personal protection.
